So much adrenaline during this first project. Learned a lot about making things under a different kind of pressure!
Getting to talking to Amy and Nick made it worth it though.
I also did a kumiko "quilt" and photo shelf project but am having trouble finding photos of it!
Abandoned highways with a little turtle.
Kid's play fort.
Originally I wanted to do a "bat cave" with a waterfall that separates as the door but I had been getting a lot of critiques about how dark my projects were at this point haha. This project made me sweat a whole lot. There were supposed to be windows cut out on the sides but I completely forgot to do it. I made plans for an improved version of this a couple years later which can be seen here.
Setting the trap door and making sure there were no survivors in there.
Making sure the sign was perfectly crooked.
Since this project doubled as a puppet theater, I made some last second puppets of Amy and Nick. However, right before filming, I decided to not mention them as their quality was just barely not up to standard.
Putting in Rowdy's cotton ball teeth <3
I'll never forget when Nick said Rowdy's name.
I want to mention we also have Lucy and I love her equally. The feathers were black/brown though so it could only be a costume of Rowdy.
If anyone sees this, I'm sorry I fogged up the barn for a minute!
Love the contrast between Amber and my front porch displays.
My mid-thought/stress/panic smile when someone says, "hey, look over here!"
Halloween worm-hole front porch display.
Lighting project
Another mid-panic/stressed stop what you're doing real quick and smile pic.
The wrapped cord was added by production after it was complete.
